Students... hobbies?

i am a scrapper too! i stopped scrapping when i started school and wasn't able to do any till summer break. was too busy day after day with the tests. now that summer is over and it is closer to graduation (april 26th!!!) i have been itching to do it again. i just started checking out the websites and the message boards out again. yesterday, in between school stuff, i actually altered something. yeahhhh!!!!!!
my advice is to keep a notebook while in school of the things that you want to scrap so that when you are done you can pick up where you left off. if you do have time during school then pick a day and set a time for you so that you can do it.
i can honestly tell you i had no time at all with the studying. it really sucked but i have a career now to show for it. ya know?

I read as much as I can (non-nursing!) I am in my 10th or 11th time thru Diana GAbaldon's Outlander series; my absolute favorite books and a great way to get lost for awhile. I cross-stitch too, but I haven't done that since summer lol. I bought a little kit that I can supposedly make in one weekend, but so far I've barely made a dent. Its my week off from work and school, and I am hoping to finish it but really...I am just kind of wandering around the house, sleeping, falling asleep and reading. (Did I mention sleeping?LOL)

Hobbies?

Ummm....with full time classes, and a weekend job, and 3 kids at home, and a husband (who is worse than ALL the kids put together) and 7 dogs (3 puppies)...

I wish I had more time for hobbies When I do find time, I like to read, knit or watch cheesy movies. I mostly can only do these things on the weekend (and even then, I sometimes don't have the time) or sometimes I read for leisure between classes. I'd love to knit in my off-time on school days but I feel too dorky bringing my yarn and needles to school :chuckle

I do stained glass although since I moved in Nov I have not been able to set up due to space and time.

I guess my only hobby at the moment is sleeping and that seems be a rarity lately. Oh I also do as much community service as I can.

Well, more than a hobby. I'm a musician (guitar, piano, bass, drums), but obviously barely finding the time to practice or write nowadays.

For the time being it's just intermittant music therapy more than anything. Plus the occasional gig here and there...
