The Ocean County Vocation is an excellent program!!! It has a 98.9 percent pass rate which is darn good!! The classes are small and there are three teachers for each class! There is no waiting list at this time either!

Hey everyone! Has anyone ever moved to another state and applied for licensure there? We are moving at the end of the year and I am not sure of what steps I need to take to get my license in my new state. I know about reciprocity and my new state and current state have it. Hello! Here is NJ you are not required to be a CNA or have any expierence prior to entering the LPN program. I was lucky enough to have some medical training (10 yrs as a EMT) and it ended up helping tremendously! So I say yes...If you can get a job as a PCT then do it. It can only help further you. My advice is to go for the LPN program. It will make you better prepared for the RN program and you will be ahead of all those students who werent LPN's. As soon as I graduate (April 26th woohoo) I am enrolling in the online LPN to ADN. Just somethig for you to think about. Also...if you go LPN to RN you can work and make money as an LPN while you are in RN school!! Hope this helps!

Not sure where you are at....Ocean County has a program through the vocational school that starts in September. Right now tuition is 3700.00 including books. You Take the NLN's when you are almost done with school. HTH hethbearpooh

i am a scrapper too! i stopped scrapping when i started school and wasn't able to do any till summer break. was too busy day after day with the tests. now that summer is over and it is closer to graduation (april 26th!!!) i have been itching to do it again. i just started checking out the websites and the message boards out again. yesterday, in between school stuff, i actually altered something. yeahhhh!!!!!! my advice is to keep a notebook while in school of the things that you want to scrap so that when you are done you can pick up where you left off. if you do have time during school then pick a day and set a time for you so that you can do it. i can honestly tell you i had no time at all with the studying. it really sucked but i have a career now to show for it. ya know? good luck to you my fellow scrapper!!:)
