APA question

So I have to write a case study paper in APA format. It's been a loooooong time since I've had to write a paper in such format. When I put myself as the author, do I include all of my credentials, as in turnforthenurse BSN, RN, PCCN? I couldn't seem to find this information online.

From paragraph 2.02 Author's Name (Byline) and Institutional Affiliation of the. Publication Manual of American Psychological Association (6th ed.):

The preferred form of an author's name is first name, middle initial(s), and last name; this form reduces the likelihood of mistaken identity. To assist researchers as well as librarians, use the same form for publication throughout your career; that is, do not use initials on one morificecript and the full name on a later one. Determining whether Juanita A. Smith is the same person as J. A. Smith, J. Smith, or A. Smith can be difficult, particularly when citations span several years and institutional affiliations change. Omit all titles (e.g., Dr., Professor) and degrees (e.g., PhD, PsyD, EdD). Institutional affiliation. (p. 26)

One time fee. Fantastic deal that is worth every penny. Nothing more tedious than trying to manually tweak APA (spaces; italics; etc) at the 11th hour so that you get the paper in by the assignment deadline. Thank you, PERRLA!

Yep, one time fee with lots of updates and great customer service. It's one guy who invented it and runs the company. I think he's a retired professor or something. It's rare to find a really useful, well designed product like this. I did 2 years of undergrad and now 3 years pf grad school and it's saved me hours. The only other thing spend money on is an online paper checker that checks for plagiarism which is also superb. Money well spent.

I would also check with your university - we had access to both of those (or similar) programs for free. I never used the APA formatting one just because I like doing it myself (yes, weird, I know) and then the plagiarism program was required for all papers (I think it was called TurnItIn??). We could turn the papers in early, run it through and make changes if necessary. We also had a service called SmartThinking that would look at your paper for either major content help or just APA help. Anyway, these were all free so your facility may have something.
