I am an upcoming college senior where I'll be earning a Bachelor's degree in Health Science. I plan to take a year off and then apply to an accelerated BSN program so I can eventually become an NP.
Does anyone have suggestions on what to do with that year off between college and applying to the BSN program? I want to strengthen my resume with relevant experience but am having trouble deciding what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

Volunteer @ a hospital in a capacity where you will interact with patients, and you should start doing that NOW, so by the time you apply to the ABSN you will have an impressive # of hours under your belt for your resume. PLUS, you will meet people in a position to write you a good letter of recommendation.
