Strange things you've asked your doctor

Today I asked my cardiologist for copies of my labs, ECG and ECHO so I could turn myself into a case study. (He thought I was kidding)

I've also asked my PCP if I could quote her in a research paper.

Have you asked your doc any odd questions?

I asked my doc once if he even knew how to put in an art line. He was in the ICU trying his best with a tiny elderly woman, and at the point when I asked him, he had used every art line kit in the unit. There were two left in central stores, and I wouldn't let him have them.

We laugh about it now.....at least I do :)
