The waiting is the hardest part! But as you said, I guess no news is good news.

I called SBU today and they said we would definitely be receiving letters either this week or next

dang it! I just put in a request to send an updated transcript to SBU today...as typical of my super-slow school, they STILL haven't calculated current GPA's for this semester and won't until this weekend. This is bumming me out. I feel it would have been to my advantage for them to have a copy :crying2:

Great! Now for the next 2 weeks I am going to be opening the mailbox just a slit to check for a big envelope if I don't see one I am just going to shut it again!! :)

Meredith09: I just printed the unofficial page with my grade and sent it to them as a PDF so that they had it... said I would be sending the official as soon as possible.

I submitted my 2 year app today just in case! Sending everyone good energy!! :)

Will they not notify us of our acceptance (or other) before they get our official transcript do you know? Our grades JUST appeared online yesterday...

Funny, I just did the same thing! lol I sent them an email explaining the situation, and attached a PDF with my unofficial transcript...I would just be ill if I didn't get in b/c they didn't see my grades from this semester: A+, A, A-, and B+ in a&p II lab, patho I, Micro, and pharm respectively!! don't want to be cheated out of 3 more A's on my record just b/c my school is lazy!! :jester:

Fingers crossed! and perhaps it wouldn't hurt to bust out the cocktail shaker and put it to good use for the next few days! :lol2:

Thanks for the update. I am trying not to think about it b/c I have an interview tomorrow for a job and already have so much anxiety right now. I just sent my stuff iin for the two year. I am so nervous about everything. I thought they said mid to end of January. I guess they finished early:)

Lol..you sound like me peeking into the mailbox. Well you applied to both programs like me... i applied to both also to double my chances. I think they may at least put me on the waiting list for one program. Good luck to you all too.

Cara my understanding is they make thier decision based on the grades they have When u apply and ure acceptance is always pending completion of all pre-reqs...

Cocktails are def in order!! I'm trying to stay positive but freaking bc all of my prereqs were not complete!! I had 3 done and one in progress when i applied. I have finished one more but I hope I atleast have a shot!

Not to feed the obsession here...but has anyone's Solar page changed yet? I know there was some talk about the Solar stuff changing based on whether one was accepted or not :confused:

Mine still shows applicant info / submitted documents, nothing different from before.

Thankfully, my job is keeping me so busy that I don't have time to think about a pending letter from SB. Crossing my fingers though, all I can do!
