Well congrats!! How far in are you and what are your thoughts so far? Where do you do your clinicals? If you already answered all of this let me know and I'll go in and read through the other pages :)

I took music and ethics. And, yes interviews along with a basic math and writing test are mandatory if you get called for one.

I'm finishing up my application now after having just gone to an info session on Thursday. I'm not feeling hugely optimistic about it- earned some lousy grade because I dropped a LOT of classes as a naive youngster. Stopped going to school and now I'm back completing my prerequisites and kicking some booty at it.

Apparently the average incoming cumulative GPA is 3.4 and the science GPA was a 3.6-3.7!

I'm also in the same boat as you. Went through some personal issues and ended up dropping out of Stony many many years ago. But I picked up my act and up'ed my GPA after transferring to another school. So don't worry too much. Just keep working hard on your statement. Hopefully we will both get in. Gluck!

I'm still curious if anyone got called in for interviews yet. Hmm... anyone?

Hopefully!!! Still tying up on the personal statement and waiting on one more recommendation from my micro professor.

I haven't heard anything about interviews yet, I went to an info session on the 11th and she said they hadn't started yet.

I'm still waiting on one more from a professor but I haven't been able to get a hold of him, hopefully they'll have us covered by the 6th :)

Where is everyone else applying?

I applied to Hunter and I'm going to apply to the program at my community college (queensborough). I might apply to NYU but if I get accepted I know I can't afford the tuition :p

applying will probably be a waste of $70 either way

I'm applying to Columbia, Suffolk Community College, Pace, probably NYU, and Molloy. Maybe Nassau Community College also.
