Hello guys~ I m going to apply Stony brook nursing for 2015 Fall.

Is there anyone also applying?

No, mine doesn't. The email they sent states that SOLAR won't be up to date until the 16th anyway so I wouldn't sweat anything that it says until after then. Mine says my application date is 1/6 when it was actually the first so I don't know

Does anyone know when they will start calling in for interviews? The wait is tough! Sigh.

I don't think I got in but good luck everyone my gpa was 3.3 when I applied now it's 3.4 don't think it will help . Good luck u guys.

You never know. I have about a 3.4 as well do I don't know my chances but we'll see. I was stupid when I first went to college, struggled financially and have a lot of UW's on my transcript 😕

We should be hearing about interviews February/March and usually decisions come in Mid-April

Hey guys just writing in this thread to tell you not to get discouraged! I'm currently in the first year of the program, and was actually on the Alternate list. TWO DAYS before orientation (in August), I received the phone call I'd been hoping for since April...I was in! My GPA was only a 3.09 in my first degree. Strong personal statements and recommendations go a long way for the admissions committee, and make sure to do your best on interview day! Good luck!
