Stony Brook Nursing Basic BSN Fall 2013 applicants

Hey guys! So I just applied to the SBU Basic (2 year) program a couple of days ago. I thought it would be nice to start a forum. Feel free to ask any questions! And good luck to all who are applying!!!

3 weeks!! omg i can't wait!! hopefully we'll find out during or a little after spring break. i'll probably harrass my mail-lady for the rest of march LOL. has anyone applied to binghamton? if so, have you heard anything.

I just got a new job. If I get accepted I don't know what in going to do. Ugh I wish they had a weekend program.

I emailed the School of Nursing and they stated that we would find out at the end of March/early April. So nervous!! But good luck to all who applied! :)

The waiting game is killing me! Stony Brook is my top choice and from what I've read will be the last school I hear from :( May seems so far away lol I recently got accepted into Drexel's 3-year BSN program (w/ one co-op) but I really want stony brook. What other schools have everyone applied to? I applied to Binghamton, Drexel (ACE), NYU, Thomas Jefferson and Stony Brook.
Hi Futurenurse912, I appliced to Pace, Drexel, & NYU. As of now, I will be attending Drexel. I paid my tuition deposit to hold my seat and I will be visiting this weekend to check out the campus. I think not hearing back till May is ridiculous and there's no guarantee that I will get accepted into Stony Brook...So I made the decision to go to Drexel. At least I know I'll have a school to attend and I will be done in 11 months.

yourstruly_dm, I'm thinking about paying my deposit for Drexel also. it's an amazing program and no other school that I've applied to offers the co-op. Maybe we'll be classmates :)

i also checked NCLEX passing rate for Drexel , and its says 98% which very good , seems their education is good..

I don't see any tab that's saying this. Maybe it will appear after decision made.

I am thinking that to see result online should be faster than getting it by mail. If they make it available online of course
