Stony Brook FNP Summer 2020

Just wanted to open a thread for those applying to Stony Brook's FNP program for Summer 2020 ?. It's super early but I want to submit my app asap (currently working on the essay).

For those of you applying to Stony Brook, which schools are you also considering?

Hi! I’m looking to apply for the Pediatric NP program. I’m also looking at other schools but need 100% online, which limits my options. I’m looking at Maryville and Regis.

I am having a hard time finding student reviews of the program. I am also wondering if they clinical hours can be spread out to a manageable schedule because I plan to work through the program.

Hey! I’m doing adult and just started my application this morning! Good luck! I’m trying to submit everything by October 1st as a goal. I want it done with! I’m starting the essay tonight ?

Just curious, do you happen to know what timeframe the summer 2020 portion is? Is it 6,8,10 weeks in June-July?

Does anyone know how many clinical hours are required? I can't find this or their handbook anywhere on the website!

I’m going to see if I can locate how many clinical hours.. I think it’s between 700-800.. but I’ll try to find out exactly

Has anyone submitted their application yet? I was reading older threads and it sounded like there is an interview process for applicants. I was wondering if anyone knows how the interviews work.

Hello everyone! Has any one had a interview yet? If so what is the current process? On older threads Iv read it’s a group interview. Or does anyone have a interview date?
