Stony Brook CNM Program

I've applied for Stony Brook's CNM program for 2020. Just started this post to see if there was anyone else here applying.

I applied. Did you do the group interview?

Yes, I did the group interview. Now just playing the waiting game! Have you heard anything?

I haven't heard anything but I do remember them saying we should find out in 8 weeks so I figure we will hear something at the end of this month or beginning of next. Have you heard anything about it being difficult to get in?

Not really. I couldn’t find much online which is why I started this post. Hopefully it’s sooner than later!

Hey I got an email yesterday! Did you?

Hi

No I haven't received anything yet. Did you get in? What is in the subject line? I hope it didn't go to spam

I got it yesterday afternoon it was from the same person who sent the interview info. The subject was Welcome to Midwifery Education Program. They said they would send official letters later but wanted to notify people so they could plan for orientation.

So you got in! Congrats!

Thanks! I’m sure you’ll hear back soon!

CONGRATS! I’m interested in knowing what the clinical component is like. Do you get to choose your own preceptor or clinical site?
