Stony Brook FNP Summer 2020

Just wanted to open a thread for those applying to Stony Brook's FNP program for Summer 2020 ?. It's super early but I want to submit my app asap (currently working on the essay).

Hello everyone! Anyone was contacted to set up an interview via Zoom yet? I have one next Monday at 10 am. I am feeling excited and anxious and wanted to see if anyone will be with me at that time.

I submitted my application on 11/11 and heard from them exactly 3 weeks later on 12/2 ( yesterday). I am surprised that the interview is via Zoom instead of in-person like all the previous years.

I applied and haven’t heard anything. I’m already feeling disheartened that I wasn’t contacted for an interview. Ugh ?

Congrats! You are the first to be contacted on our little thread! Good luck on your interview. Some threads on this site tells you what they asked, so prep yourself, maybe write a little notes so you don’t get stuck!

@AnnaOBRNC I also applied to the ANP program at SBU and received an interview request. I'm scheduled to interview 12/9. I'm still waiting to hear back from my FNP application. I submitted that one first. Super anxious right now!

Yes it’s via zoom. I think it’s great especially for those who live far from the school.
