Stony Brook BSN - Summer/Fall 2011 Applicants

ok, it's never too early to start a thread about applying for 2011 ... ... which i am most definitely doing even though i am still waitlisted for 2010. i just won't be able to attend this year if i get in ...

but that's ok! i'll be done with all my prereqs and have time to write a better application (if in fact that is at all possible, you know?).

anyone else applying to stony brook for summer 2011?

You have 2 types of beer there ... YIKES, I am scared of you!

It's already January 22nd, people. February is right around the corner. Put your plan B and C in place and you won't feel as anxious, trust me. I am as bummed about the delay as all of you are, but there's nothing we can do about it. I thought SBU would be the first school I'd hear from but it looks like it might even be the 3rd at this rate ... I'm curious to know how many more applications they got this year compared to last. Everybody and their grandmother wants to go to nursing school these days

I just have to ask, thought about this tonight: Am I the only male on here? It's hard to tell for those that don't have a gender symbol turned on next to their username, or when the username makes it obvious (then again, I should not presume anything ) ...

I wish I could trade, but you & I know better. lol!!! Trust me am not going to leave you guys in it alone, am part of the crew, so I will stay in touch till you all receive the good news from SBU. It will be my greatest joy to see you get accepted into SBU, and I will continue to keep you in my prayers. I joined this thread in Dec, and I feel so attached to the thread already.

For real, am jealous of you all going to SBU, you know in this kind of profession, all you need is this type of environment that has been created on this thread and the rest is history. I bet your class is going to be one of the best, blc you all are one family already. Again, thanks a lot for all the support, this baby thread of yours is a real wonderful support system, and am glad am part of it.

This thread was REALLY quiet during the weekend. Either everyone was out and about forgetting about SOLAR (that would be a good thing!!) or everyone was locked in a dark closet sobbing and heaving about the delay.
