  1. Hey bluegeirdwirl, Thanks for your reply!! I will buy the book now. Yeah, I really do understand your concern, as you don't have that much time to read all available materials. But so far so good, I honestly think you are doing great, just remain steadfast, and you will just be fine. Good luck!!
  2. Hi finalscore3b1g, The 2011 is the latest edition and in the Preface, it says they have made changes to reflect focus on evidenced-based best practices. And new chapters, questions, and case studies have been added. I got the 2011, so I have no idea what was in the 2006 (first edition). Hope this helps. Good luck!!!
  3. Hi bluegeirdwirl, Thanks for the reply. I am just wondering because the one i got bought is the latest edition, and it has part 3 (PDA in complex health scenario) included, since you did not mention that in your post. That was the reason why I asked the question, as it would be nice if you look through the part 3, it's a case study format. Wish you the very best!!!! P.S Is the exam Cram the yellow and blue book by Wilda Rinehart (2011), just wanted to be sure bl4 I buy it at amazon. Thanks
  4. Hi bluegeirdwirl, It so nice to see that you have gone so far in your preparation, am positive you will just be fine on the exam. Just a quick question for you, what edition of LaCharity did you use. Also is Exam cram a book or what, I saw it in your 5week study plan.
  5. Hi lyttlemomma, A very big congrats on your success, and am so happy for you. It feels good to hear good success stories, and more so to know that you are a LEO, am so proud of you. My birthday is July 31st, so close to yours and mcunanan's. I am just preparing to start studying, as I want to take the exam July ending. I was supposed to join mcunanan's and others on Mon, but I was caught up with other stuff. If you don't mind, what do you mean by identification problems (based off of pictures), and which is the drag & drop question. Thanks. Again, congratulation!!!!

  9. It means Select All That Apply.
  10. Hi Ari RN, I have been looking for LIU student on this post, and am so happy to come across your post. I an actually an alumi of LIU, I did my Master in Molecular & cellular Biology there. Now I am planning to apply for the FNP program at the CW Post campus, but I really need to know how good the program is. If you don't mind, can you share your experience with me. Thanks
  11. Hi abiagirlnp, I really wish you good luck in your job searching, and I really empathize with you. If you don't mind, what NP program did you do, am just curious as I am just applying for the NP programs. I also have pending student loans from my previous Masters and current ABSN, so I have been asking questions as to what NP program I should go for. I am scared of getting additional student loans, and not getting a job afterward. I am swinging between FNP, ANP and ACNP. What is your take on this, or anyone out there can also advise me on this. Thanks
  12. Hi Everyone, I have this concern that I have been battling with for the last couple of weeks. I am currently applying for the NP programs, and am so so confused as to which specialty to focus my applications on. I find myself swinging back and forth blw FNP, ANP and ACNP. I really don't know which one to settle for between these 3 programs. My main concern is the job market out there in the real world, and the new national APRN consensus program all current NP's are talking about. I am really so confused with the whole thing, as I have just completed my ABSN program, and I really want to continue with the NP program this fall. I don't want to commit myself to a program, and have regrets afterward, as I have student loans pending from my previous Masters, and now from the ABSN. I just want to quickly do this NP stuff, and forget about schooling, so that I can finally start a family. I would be more than grateful if anyone out there can give me one or two advices on which way to go, as most application deadline is fast approaching.
  13. Hi Ethanphil, Congratulations again!!!!!! And thanks for being so kind. Just sent you an email.
  14. Hello bluegeirdwirl, You are very welcome!! And were you able to download it. I am actually going to start studying Mon next week, and I will sure share my review. I am yet to purchase kaplan and NCSBN, but I have Saunders, Nclex review and just ordered for Lacharity. So am starting with those 3, and I will see how it goes.
  15. Hi mcunanan, Its so funny that we are thinking alike. My birthday is July 31, and I was also thinking to do it few days before, so I can have a relaxing birthday for the first time in a long time. I wish you good luck, and am joining the crew next week. I will start studying Mon the 14th, as I need to sort out some stuff before I begin with full force.
