I applied to Stony Brook's Basic (2-year) BSN program 3 weeks a go and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?
I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!
ashe me too. I applied to the 1 year at SB and was waitlisted. Thats the only other program so in essence i have been waiting...since Jan oh mann its killing me. How are you holding up?

This site has been fantastic! There is so much useful information that's been shared, and the support has been wonderful. I've been reading threads for over a year, but just started posting a few days ago! It will be great to meet everyone in person....
i agree this site was soo helpful! i made a promise to myself that i am going to leave as much info abt myself and what i did for my application for the future nursing students who find this site and look thru it for info. Lord knows i was one of them. but i cant do it now cause i cant feel my face! ive been smileing so much and my hands are trembling as i write this! Im so excited to meet you guys! :) ok cant wait for the facebook page!
