Stony Brook Basic BSN Class of 2018

Hey Everyone,

Now that the deadline for the class of 2018 Basic BSN program at Stony Brook University is coming up, I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread to and for all applicants. I hope there isn't already a thread made already because I searched thoroughly but could not find one. If you have any questions or just want to talk feel free to comment. Same! I think I did really well but I missed some questions on the math test ): oh well theres nothing I can do about it now.

I missed one on the math because I flipped my answer on accident and ran out of time trying to solve it

They told me one number and told one of my other friends another number. I hope we hear back soon

Hello everyone. I've been keeping up with this forum since it started and finally joined. I had my interview on the 8th. The staff was very friendly I have to say. The math was not as hard as I expected but without a calculator the adding and division take quite some time. It was also timed down to the second. I missed a few questions and I am praying and I have faith in still getting an accepted email soon!!

Hey teets86, thats exactly what happened to me. I got caught on a few questions and because I spent too much time on those questions I ran out of time. Im so mad at myself, but at least if I don't get in I know I will do better next year. And I thought the staff was very friendly as well.

Oh yeah and I want to make sure you guys know its 6-8 weeks until we hear back, thats what they told us at our interview.
