  1. Hey guys. not sure if any of you that have been accepted are LPN's that are entering as 2nd semester students into NUR105. I have started a forum for those of you who are.
  2. hey guys. I'm new to this forum and was just reading all your posts. Im entering in the Fall 2016 as a second semester student. Just thought I'd shed some light on the last question regarding people who have already registered for fundamentals. If Im restating correctly they allow students that have failed out in the past or have had to leave the program because of circumstances, a chance to enter again. in other words those seats may very well be people who have been in the program already and are attempting again, not necessarily new entering nursing students.
  3. I believe they were direct from Stony Brook University and one was from the program assistant.
  4. Not sure how long the interview process goes for. I submitted my application Christmas week and I was emailed for an interview the 3rd week in January. I believe that an interview means you are being considered for a seat because they did state that in order to continue being eligible for a seat an interview must be completed. As far as interviews still being sent out I have no idea. The staff is very friendly at the school of nursing, I would suggest calling and asking whether all interview requests have gone out. No harm done in asking. I've learned that it takes persistency to get answers.
  5. Yes those were the exact numbers they told us. it seems the odds are a little over half who interview will be accepted. Those who interview are in a good place.
  6. 6-8 weeks is what they told us as well. They did say that whether we got accepted, waitlisted, or denied we would still here from them. I'm nervous but confident.
  7. Totally!! I was so caught up in getting the questions with long division correct that I lost a lot of time. I have faith that my essay, GPA, and interview answers will hold me down!! Its awesome to have others to talk to that are going through the same process. It's an excellent avenue for venting
  8. Hello everyone. I've been keeping up with this forum since it started and finally joined. I had my interview on the 8th. The staff was very friendly I have to say. The math was not as hard as I expected but without a calculator the adding and division take quite some time. It was also timed down to the second. I missed a few questions and I am praying and I have faith in still getting an accepted email soon!!
