My attempt at helping those who wish to apply to the Stony Brook Accelerated (1 year) Nursing Program.
For now I'm feeling ok but I know the morning of my nerves will be all over the place! I've read other comments that say the interview process is just a way for the school to get to know you better, they don't try to make it difficult. A few candidates from previous years also said they felt more relaxed by the time it was over and as long as you express yourself with thought-out, honest answers you'll be fine.
One thing I learned from spending too much time obessing on this forum is that there is no science behind the way the admissions committee reviews applicants, it's all random. Don't be so quick to disqualify yourself! There were still interview appointments available when I checked a few hours ago so keep the faith!
When you follow the link to choose your interview date and time it shows you which slots are still currently available. Interviews won't be done by the 20th because I scheduled mine for the 28th. I don't see any availabilities after the 29th but that doesn't mean there won't be any more interviews past that date, all those time slots could just be booked already. Who knows..
Hello everyone! I know who ever has applied for this program is anxious to get into this program and so am I. I just got an email from Stony Brook about setting up an appointment for the interview. Hopefully this won't be too intense. For anyone who has graduated from this program, what was the interview process like?
