stomach contents in my eye and mouth!

I was admin meds via G-tube yesterday when the second "plug" came loose and it all sprayed directly in my face...most in my left eye and my mouth UGH UGH. I had to take out my contact lense because it was stuck to my eyeball, flush it out with NS and wash my face. The worst part is he is MRSA positive around G-tube. I filed an incident report, but Im still disgusted about the entire episode. Anyone else had this happen?

Oh, and ystdy after administering meds via tube the guy rolled and the contents burbled back up.

Please please be careful. I am at home having to put 2 eye drops in my eyes every 30 minutes and a salve in them twice a day. It feels like battery acid going in my eyes when I put the vancomycin in. The pain is unbearable. I am scared to go back around MRSA now. This is unbelievable. Who would have ever thought about Ocular MRSA? Nursing is getting so dangerous no matter how careful you are.
