Stethoscopes anyone???

Does anyone have any info on stethoscopes??? I need to get one for this Fall, and I'm not sure what kind to get !:confused: :confused: :confused:

Is the littmanns any good?

I ordered a Littmann Master Classic II from allheart.com and it was really cheap. LOVE IT!!! I had a sprague-rappaport before that, but I really couldn't hear out of it. Since I got my Littmann, I haven't had any problems!

OK guys...I still want a GOOD scope someday.. have a Littman Light and really can't hear doodly with it. I have given serious thought to the DRG Puretone... have heard some ppl absolutely swear by it! The other choice would be the Littman Cardiology III or the Classic II (?) Out of the 2 Littmanns, which is really better? I need it more for lungs sounds than heart sounds... and some of our elderly patients don't take good, deep inspirations, so it's all I can do to hear them! Any other input on the DRG? Anybody? I can't decide which way to go ! AAARGH....:confused:

I just went to ebay and they have quite a few littman's . You might want to go search the site to see if they have what you want. Sometimes you can find quite the deal!

Hi Jnette, I would go with the Classic II, that is what I have and I absolutely love it! If you just need it for listening to lung sounds, you really don't need the cardiology model, the Classic would still do the job you need and besides it is cheaper!:p Good luck on your purchase!

Guess I'll go with the Classic II then. Anybody else been really disappointed with the Littman Lite? Or am I just stone deaf? :confused:

Would it be advisable to get one off of eBay ? Whatcha think?
