Stethoscope Sales

The tube on my boyfriend's stethoscope tore in two the other night, and he is currently borrowing mine. And while I am just a nursing student (and he a respiratory therapist), I feel a post on this part of All Nurses might generate more responses, since more people are here, I think.

I am more practical then sentimental, since I feel a new stethoscope and a stethoscope hip holster would be a perfect Christmas gift. And I'm a sucker for sales, and 'tis the season for good online deals. His former stethoscope was a Classic II (what my stethoscope is, too), and he was quite happy with it.

So, where might stethoscopes be going on sale? Lowest price I could find at the moment, including shipping, was from Steeles, and has free engraving. Please let me know if you've seen anything good out there!

Can't really help with sales - I'm saving my pennies for an electric - but nobody is "just" a nurse/nursing student. ;)

Yep. Allheart.com is having a Black Friday sale on Littmann and MaxiScope stethoscopes. Also, affordable Sprague Rappoport stethoscope packages (stethoscope, BP cuff, bag, etc) are always selling on Ebay and Amazon.

Littmann will repair your in-warranty stethoscope to like new condition for free. If out of warranty cost 100 bucks or so. Probably not worth it.
