Sounds like you are going to be listening to lungs all day long ....Master Cardiology or the STC. I would pick the STC because of the rubber finger holds. Less noise from moving your fingers. I have the master cardiology now, which is also a very good scope but I wish I had bought the STC.

Is this the stethoscope you're referring to?
3M US: Littmann Cardiology S.T.C. Stethoscope
Thanks!
yep, I think it is the best overall.
Which one? Earlier you stated the STC or Master Cardiology. Now it seems you're agreeing with moggsy regarding the Cardio III. By the way, I just looked at my other stethoscope from nursing school and realized that I already have the Classic II se, so I obviously won't be getting it again. Upgrade time!

I'll be starting my first nursing job on a pulmonary unit in a few weeks. Should I get the Littmann Classic II or Littmann Cardiology III? I've heard they're both great stethoscopes, though one naturally costs more than the other. Any opinions?
