How many ppl are staying in the city they went to school in after school is over?

I'll be staying put ... already a married homeowner with one daughter - no reason to leave the area. 15+ hospitals within 20 miles of my home.
I don't think I'll be relocating ever unless DH & I decide to escape the snow in retirement!:)

We'll be movimg to vegas for our bachelors programs, but when that's over with we'll go where my BF (hopefully someday hubby) gets accepted for grad school. I'm hoping for Cali, I know it's expensive, but I've always wanted ot live there.

Hope to move to perhaps a bigger town - planning to stay in state though in hopes that I'll get this state-funded scholarship that requires a 2-year work commitment. May eventually move out of state for grad school... of course this is all assuming that I get in! LOL :)
And well, I actually live 60 miles from the school I'll be attending, so I'll be making that commute every day. YUCK!

After I finish my BSN, I will probably not stay in the local area. I'm seriously considering the Air Force...so wherever that leads me is where I'll go.

Home is where the Air Force sends me. I'll probably stay put unless hubby gets orders. Many, many hospitals here in the area.
Maire, I didn't notice your location at first, but you must be in the vacinity of McGuire AFB. I have friends who have been stationed there for about the last 3 years. Maybe we know some of the same people...
Cheers!

It's a small world, therefore entirely possible!

Don't know. Lots of personal considerations. My grown children and grandchild, who is the light of my life, have recently spread out to parts north but I have frail aging parents and a sister with whom I enjoy a very close relationship down here. It is a dillema.

Good question. I like where we live but my parents are living in Florida half of the year and will eventually move there permenately. They retired really young and are really enjoying their time there. They keep telling me how cheap the land and houses are there, and I really enjoyed visiting it. It will depend on the schools for my children and how the hospitals are there. I'll probably research it better closer to graduation. I would really like to have a winter with no snow. lol.

And I shall go where the Navy sends me, but I am kind of looking forward to moving around and seeing what else is out there
