I have taken both
IMHO. A+P is harder- AND I didn't even find A+P to be hard ( I finished A+P1 with a 100.1 and am now in A+P 2 with a 98). A+P was a ton of memorizing and understanding concepts...being able to connect the dots..and many " a ha!" moments.
Statistics, to me, was learning the formulas. Reading the questions thoroughly...plugging the right ##'s into my calculator in the right sequence and getting an answer. Statistics is literally not like any other " math" course. 99.9% of it was on a calculator and 99,9% of it was just knowing which ## to put where in the formula.
I got an A in Statistics and I never stressed about it.... I tended to over stress about A+P ha ha.
FWIW I was TERRIFIED of Statistics going in..
BTW my calculator was a Texas Instruments graphing calculator...you WILL need an advanced calculator... I believe mine was the TI-83? My boyfriend gave it to me but I know it was about $100

Exactly! You don't have to be a math whiz to do well in Statistics, it's more understanding which formulas to use where.
A&P was 1000X harder.

Hello Everyone,
I am doing my pre req's for nursing and next semester will be my first A&P class. I want to go for my BSN so I will be having to take Stat's as well. When I first started to pursue this I thought A&P would be terrifying (and maybe it will be) but when I discovered I would have to take a Stat's class I am now more terrified of that. So I am wondering, for those of you that have taken both, which was harder? I am starting math from scratch so I am hoping that will help me to get through Stat's evenutally.
Thanks in advance for your imput
Nichole
