what state can i go through to take me nclex

can someone tell me what state I can go through to take my nclex pn because I have taking it in FL 3 times. however, I have to take a remedial course if I go through FL again. Hawaii turn me down because of my background .

I know others who applied to MD and MN so they could test again. They passed but they are not practicing in Florida so I'm not sure about the transferring back into the state thing, I would call the Board of nursing Monday and ask them. Or email them tonight. They always responded to my emails within 48 hours

AM going to apply for MN tomorrow . I just hope they don't deny me due to my background in 1995 . I didn't have any problem with FL . am trying to keep the hope but, its hard when I have failed 3 times!

What does the FL BON say about endorsing a license to their state? It should be on the website.

I don't get why you wouldn't take the remediation to help you pass since it's the same test. If the background issue is the school you attended, I certainly wouldn't want to have to submit all of the paperwork to get approval to take MN boards to endorse to FL. Seems to me to be a waste of time, money, and effort that could be spend studying again for the FL boards.

If it's a criminal background you are referring to, do you really want to take that chance in another state? That seems risky to me, if this is the case. I am making a broad assumption here due to your concern about your "background in 1995" influencing your ability to get licensed.

I really don't have the money now its too expensive and too far . I fine one course in never the area but, it dose not start until June 2015 I am getting frustrated that why I was thinking about going to a different state .
