i submitted my application already. i just gambled coz i haven't got any response from here. i did not submit form 3 of the NYS. applied the CVS online and i paid it online too to save. hopefully, it will be good. *cross-fingers*

I hope you can update us about your application. I'm also planning to apply in NY since my application here in Cali just got denied too. Good luck!

ive been 18 years post grad in the phil. when i arrive here in US. i was planning to take my NCLEX in new yor. so what i did is that i file the credential verification for new york in CGFNS. i wait for 6 to 7 months. and now my CVS is ready to forward in new york educ. they advice me to file my application in new york and what happen is that they had already deposit my check that i used for my payment.. do i need to submit the child abuse certification? need advice.. thnks

At some stage you will need to submit child abuse but they may not need it until you have passed NCLEX. They will not issue a license without it

Hey! Romelmads, Did you accomplished the CVS first before proceeding to NY application.. Should I wait for the GO signal of CVS before I file my NY application.. My friend told me to mail it together on their respective department but I'm not quite sure if it's the right thing to do.. Thanks!

Doesn't matter really when you complete your NY BON application because once they see CVS is required your file will just go on hold until CVS is delivered to them

Hi! All,

Just want to clarify, for the licensed nurse outside the USofA. Do they require to submit the Nurse Form 3- Verification of other Professional Licensure/ Certification Section I and II..??? In regards to that I dunno how will I answer the Form 1 question #18. If I ever held license or cert to practice any profession *in any jurisdiction? Any ideas??? Personally, I think the answer is "NO" Am I right..???

One more thing when is the right time to submit infection control certificate? Was it before or after the NCLEX???..

I'm also applying for the licensure of NY and having the same question....

But I just answered "NO" to that question on Form 1. Casue I'm a non-US educated applicant and I didn't need to take the SBPT nor the NCLEX examination in order to get my license. No such information about the exam results can be provided by my licensing authority. So I didn't complete the Form 3.

I think it's alright, cause CGFNS will forward the verification of licensure to them later.

( I just guess, but many people say only Form 1 is needed for the foreign student.)

I'm submitting the Form 1 and CVS application forms at the same time as instructed by CGFNS. So I already finished that course and certificate will be sent to NYSED electronically. I think you can take it anytime just before you filling out Form 1, cause you have to answer the question no.24 on Form 1.

is it really needed to be an RN in the philippines in applying NYS nclex??i was worried i was not having a chance to take RN there,i graduated last year April,and was rejected also my application inCALI bon,waste of time and money...

help me guys if is it really needed the RN.

no you don't have to be a license holder in the Philippines to apply in NYS
