  1. NY state is not requiring a local license but you should have a SSN to apply for NCLEX-RN. You can check their requirements here: http://www.op.nysed.gov/prof/nurse/NursingApplicationPacket-October07.pdf
  2. I am also a graduate from Philippines and my application for NCLEX-RN was denied here in California because of the concurrency issue. Good luck with your application! :)
  3. You paid $30? But according to my analyst they can send the RLE & TOR to the BVNT without a fee.. I've also read a post here saying that it's faster if you'll just get the requirements again from your school than asking the CA BRN to forward it to the BVNT. Applying to sit in NCLEX-PN is still not in my mind. I'm trying to apply in NY. And I'm hoping they will give me the ATT. :)
  4. I hope you can update us about your application. I'm also planning to apply in NY since my application here in Cali just got denied too. Good luck!
  5. Hi Kuyafern! How's your application in Nevada so far? I'm also planning to apply in Nevada since my application here in Cali just got denied too. Please keep us posted! We really need your help! By the way, do you have idea about the validity of ATT in Nevada? Is it 45 days or 1 yr? Thank you so much in advance!
  6. Thank you so much purplechicxiii! I also received a message a few days ago from VT BON and you're right. Local license is required. Thanks again! I guess I'll just try Nevada or New Jersey.
  7. I think you should try applying in other states not requiring a local license. Like Nevada & New Jersey. Actually those are my two options, since my application here in California just got denied.
  8. Hi Starleviosa! Congrats for passing the exam!.. I hope you can also help me pass my exam. Could you also please forward your review materials to me? Here's my e-add: [email protected] Thank you so much for your help!
  9. Hi xaxa14! How's your application so far? My application here in Cali was denied and I'm also planning to apply in Nevada. Can I have your e-mail address? I really need your help! Thank you so much!
  10. There's a list of counties who are exempted on taking TOEFL/IELTS on Nevada's website. And if your country is not on the list then you're required to take TOEFL/IELTS. I am a graduate from Philippines and planning to apply in Nevada. According to them applicants who are educated in the Philippines should complete the English proficiency exam.
  11. The only applicants who are affected by the current changes imposed by the BRN in California are foreign graduates. If you're not a foreign graduate, then there's nothing to worry, but if you are, it doesn't really mean that you're application will be automatically denied. They have to check your theory and clinical. If you've taken them at the same time then they will give the ATT but if not, they will deny it.
  12. Hi Borlenz!.. Congrats! I'm also a Filipino. How many months did they process your application? I'm planning to apply in New Jersey too since my application here in California was denied. I'm hoping you could help me. Thank you so much! You can e-mail me here: [email protected] Thanks again! :)
  13. Ho w can I apply on Fresenius and Davita to become a dialysis technician? I'm really interested. Thanks for you help!
  14. I heard Davita and Fresenius are offering free training to become a dialysis technician. And after 18 months of training you have to sit on an examination to get a certificate. Does anyone of you knows how to apply? I would really appreciate your help.
