my first day of workwas like a graduating nursing student..superviser was watching me do EVERYTHING..and saying get used to it..and then a week later..superviser says keep it up!!..its relieving.......:)

just wait for the call for a month if no call,apply to another place like me..when u apply to a new place indicate part time not full time in case the first one calls you back..I know how u feel..i got 4 interviews and the 5th one I got hired 1 week after the interview..patience is an important virtue in life..and pray..all employers say that they say that to get your hopes up..do u have work experience in nursing like cna or caregiver?huge plus to get hired

dcs1107:if you have equivalent training from a different state you may challenge the state exam like me..i finished a nursing program in PHIL but couldnt find any jobs when i moved here in CAL so I applied for CNA exam and waiting to take it..

what would you do if u are a phil grad and studied for NCLEX RN for like a year then got denied? NEED SUPPORT GROUP!!! anybody living in sacramento ca and looking for a job as caregiver or cna..etc....NEED SOME PEOPLE IN THE SAME SITUATION..

did anyone start as a CNA before LVN/LPN.?how was the advancement?..I just passed my CNA exam and thinking about advancing to LVN/LPN in the next few yew years or so...as for now I am looking for CNA jobs here in Sacramento...need advice,need recommendations,need help...

I have a question for you CNAs..I am a PHIL grad with BSN and I wasnt eligible to take the NCLEX..so I figure with a BSN do I still have to do training and clinicals..I've heard being a CNA is a stepping stone if you really want your career in healthcare/nursing..some say I can take the exam some say take a CNA course because CA doesnt approve PHIL grads..what is the real deal...need info any info on CNA certification/examination in CA...

yes u should send the request for livescan form,money order and application to the BRN CA including 2x2 photo..and mail the request for transcript and breakdown forms to your school so when they have those done they can send it to the boards..yes these documents must directly come from your school..

we are all the same Im planning CNA exam since CNA dep say I do not need further formal training since I have a bachelor degree and completed fundamentals of nursing(equivalency)...my story is I wasnt eligible to take the NCLEX RN here in CA..I am a BSN from PHIL..yeah concurrency issue.....need/want income!!!
