I chose to apply to NY because the application process there is easier and faster compared to NV. NV requires IELTS/TOEFL and CGFNS. In NY, they only require CGFNS and they don't even require a live scan.

do you still need to have a nursing work experience before you can have your license endorsed to another state? im planning to take my nclex in NY and after I pass it and get my license, I will immediately apply for endorsement to Nevada. would i still need to work in NY so that my request for endorsement to NV will be approved?

is the enrollment still ongoing? i would want to enroll but the school is very far from us.

do you know if how long would it take for us to finish our deficiencies (OB and Med Surg)?

it's so hard to relocate. and even if you transfer to another state and get a license there, you still won't be able to return to California to work because when you apply for endorsement the California BRN would still check your education. they still won't accept the endorsement of your license from another state.

is anybody here planning to study in order to make up the deficiencies?? i cannot find schools that allow us to take only the subjects that we are deficient in. because I would rather want to enroll in the list of accredited schools that they gave us and complete the deficiencies and then be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN. i guess if it is only the deficiencies that we need to complete, it would not take us that long to finish it.
