4520 is Health Assessment. I am also taking this 9/30. I have heard some people say it is tough and others say it's not bad. Guess we will find out soon enough!

I was one of the lucky ones that was able to test out of Health Assessment - so I didn't have to take it. Having said that - all classes at OU - how good or how hideous - are entirely TA dependent. Good TA .. good class. Bad TA ... I was lucky, only had one TA that I didn't particularly care for. It's 5 weeks ... you CAN do anything for 5 weeks!
I didn't find it too bad, I actually felt it was a breath of fresh air, something that was pertitnent to my practice. And the assessment review was good practice.
I actually discovered my daughter has a convergence problem with her left eye. She's 15 it had never been caught before.
Cincinursemary,
Wow. Sounds like this class was helpful to you and your daughter. I am nervous about this class because I have not been doing that type of bedside nursing for a long time. However, I am eager to relearn my assessment skills. What can we expect in this class? Is it more or less time consuming than the other nursing classes etc.
