Starting pays?

Published

anyone know what the starting pay of an rn bsn is at st.jude? lebohner? methodist? etc? if you know of a hospital and what their start pay is, post it. curiosity purposes as well as motivation.:snowflake:

lebonheur starting pay rate is $20.25 (if you are not an extern there) and $20.75 if you are...$4.50 shift diff from 3-11 and $4 from 11p-7a...with $8 on weekend and holidays

Thats the same for Methodist. Lebonheur is in the Methodist system

baptist is 22.55 an hour. i'm not sure what shift diffs are - just do a search and they'll come up. they're on one of the TN pay rate threads. i want to say 2nd shift is 4.50, 3rd shift is 4.00 and weekends are 4.50, in addition to 1.00 bedside shift diff.

Specializes in Public health, Operating Room, Rehabilitation, LTC.

I just was hired at Lebonheur as a new RN and the new grad pay is 21.00 an hour. I have been an LPN for 5 years so I received a little extra.

Specializes in ICU, Med-Surg, Post-op, Same-Day Surgery.

This may be a dumb question, but why is the shift diff less for 11p-7a than 3-11? It seems to me that the 3rd shift is the worst, so the shift diff should be the greatest?

umm...i think it has to do with the fact that 3rd shift seems to be MUCH calmer than first and second. yes the fatigue factor plays a role but in general, the patients are asleep and not ringing the call button.

St. Francis starts new grads at 20.80 with benefits, shift diff is 4.25 that's for 3-11, 11- 7a, and week-ends, bedside is 1.00.:nurse:

The Nurse recruiter offered me 18.00-19.00/hr to start as a new grad RN at covenant health in Knoxville,TN.

Specializes in ER/Trauma.

Any word on UT Med Center Knoxville?
