  1. Use lots of 3 ring binders and divider tabs, make different sections for different things. homework, work to do, work to turn in, and use the pocket in the back for things "other"like handouts or graded papers? I suggest using the front pockets for the most important things so you can see it when you open it and not have to look for anything. Use 1 3 ring binder and 1 big notebook for each subject, and keep them with you always or alternate them around, maybe label them the days of the week with the subject? color coded? Just anything to catch your eye. Hope I don't sound like a broken record? haha. My little girl turns 4 in Feb, it's crazy with her running around:lol_hitti, and my husband, basically 4 as well. haha take care!
  2. I am so sorry to hear of this. You are tough and can do anything! Take care.
  3. ps: Are you going to Southwest or UM? Maybe i could let you know the best teacher for a&p?
  4. Well then, MY experiences with science are kind of backwards. i got a c in a&p 1, a B in a&p2 and an A in Micro. haha. So i dunno if i would be able to help ya. haha. But I thought a&p2 was easier than a&p1. Just me. Good luck!
  5. I know EXACTLY how you feel. Sping 08' I took Microbiology and Anatomy and physiology 2 together. haha. I got a B in Anatomy and physiology 2 and a D in Microbiology. Like you, I was sooo upset. I took Micro again this semester fall 08' and made an A. I did not realize it then, but the micro teacher I had in the spring was AWFUL, the teacher I had this semster was AMAZING. Teachers really do make a bigg difference. I just can't stress enough to anyone if you want it that bad, don't ever give up. That grade just makes me want to do EVEN better.
  6. anyone know what the starting pay of an rn bsn is at st.jude? lebohner? methodist? etc? if you know of a hospital and what their start pay is, post it. curiosity purposes as well as motivation.:snowflake:
  7. Please tell me what i'm in for. i know it's one of those really unnecessary classes, but i just need to know some details. haha
  8. Hey there, I am right there with you. Start in the spring and clinicals fall 10'. It will go by fast though! Good luck with your classes!
  9. Thanks for the luck, i'm gonna need it. I did exactly the same thing as you with the part time classes. Good luck to you as well!:snowflake:
  10. Thank you for giving me some hope. I only have one 3 yr old daughter and a husband (2nd child) haha. Good for you and Congrats! inspired!
  11. hello all, for the past two years i have been attending southwest tennessee community college and i will start baptist college of health sciences this spring , i have registered for my classes and all that stuff. i have 21 hours that are transferable to baptist from southwest. even though i had like 35 at southwest. i am just nervous because when i went to southwest i only went part time, but this coming spring i will be a full blown full time student, 13hrs. for the past 4 1/2 years my husband has been attending the university of memphis, and we have always worked our schedules around our daughter so someone is always home with her, avoiding daycare.(hence, me going part time) he graduates dec. 13th, finally, ha ha. just wonder if anyone has ever made that transition from part time to full time? if so, how did it go?
  12. Just don't give up and try EVEN harder to pass. Ask more questions from your teacher and see what THEY want.
  13. It really does make a difference if you take Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2 before micro. A and p 1 and 2 are like pre req. for micro.
  14. Yeah really. Didn't the guy say she was pregnant too? jee whiz. haha.
  15. Yeah i hear ya. I guess people there could be a little self righteous, we're all there competing for the same thing, so i guess you could "trust no one" really. I was just wondering about the subject. I don't do drugs and very seldom drink at all. They just made it sound questionable?
