Hey guys, i'm currently in the hiring process for an agency in NYC. I was told that the pay will be 27-28 dollars per visit. Is this any good? I'm a new LPN. I plan on taking classes for my BSN once i move out of my parents house and get situated to the job better. Should i ask for more? Is this fair pay per visit for an agency LPN working in New York City? Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions! I am also speak english and spanish fluently. I grew up in New York and i learned both languages at the same time. I don't know if this helps with pay negotiation or not. They said i would get something like 5-8 visits a day.

Which agency did you work for? And 35/hr starting as a new grad?
Okay everything I know
LPN
Full time 20.76 a hour in City LTC
Full time union 26/hr in LTC
Full time 21.00 a hour in hospital (heard some coworkers starting at 25)
Agency 27$ a hour full time hours no benefits
Private duty 30/hr to start 35$ after 5 years
Home care 55/visit skilled visit
Home care 35-45 /visit Supervisory visit
17/hr white glove home care
Heard VNS pays per unit about 28/hr 1 visit = 1 hour maybe?
This is what I was offered during my years as a LPN, my own experience and no way indicative of average LPN salary in NYC
