Starting Monday!!

Hi all this is my very first post here!! I start school monday and I am so nervous! I have been reading all these post and it is helping. So what should I expect???

I have bought all the books.....thank god for scholarships!!

I had oriention...scare the day lights out of me!!

I bought my school supplies and organized every thing!!

I started learning my Nursing Math...they don't teach it you need to learn it on your own and pass a test in October..I am dreaming about Grains and Drams...LO

So what else......

ENJOY IT!!!!!! Nursing school is stressful but it can be ALOT of fun if you let it... And you will probably meet some great friends..

As far as other advice.. main thing I have been telling people is DO NOT get behind on reading, studying etc... If you are normally a crammer for tests, forget it... I study a lil every nite, that way when test time gets here, it mainly becomes a review...

Instead of listing all the things that you should expect, like late nights and care plan hell....I just want to say that I hope you enjoy every minute of school and you find, during your journey, sensitive ears to hear the unspoken, gentle hands to help the needy, a great big heart to care for others, and a strong voice so that you are heard.

You will always do well if you have these. The rest is just practice and study
