Stanford New Graduate RN Residency Program Summer 2015

U.S.A. California

I didn't see this topic on here yet so I thought I would start one! Has anyone heard anything about interviews for the Stanford New Grad RN program yet? What units are you interested in?

It looks like they may have updated status changes online without sending the emails yet.

@cf702 Updated status in what way? As in, if you were accepted did it change, or if you were rejected did it change?

It said "no longer under consideration" or something close to that (updated today). No email though. I would check your accounts... Good luck to all those still in the running!

I spoke with HR regarding my status since it still says "in process". I guess they still have to review it from what the woman said to me. It just seemed strange that they are already starting to turn people away without reviewing everyone. My significant other says that in the hiring process for most any place, this is typical. :nailbiting:

@xx_remix thank you for posting this. I called, but was not able to get through to anyone. Fingers crossed for everyone!

I just got a call this morning! I was told the interviews start in July 22nd. The lady called me at 8am, and I was asleep so she left a voicemail, and called back 2x after that. I'm still trying to reach her. But my status date changed yesterday. It was in review with a date of 5/18, and changed to 6/15 yesterday

Congratulations!!! I'm hearing the same thing from some of my classmates! Weird how it took so long between calls - but who cares, you got the interview and that's all that matters. What are your areas of interest nursing wise?

Just curious, did your statuses say "In Review" or "In Process"? Mine is still "in process" and I'm wondering if they both mean the same thing. o_O I saw that it did from previous posts but then it makes me wonder.

Mine still says "In Review" or at least it did last time I looked. My understanding of "In Process" means that your application is still in the running and that they may require further information, in which case they will call you with questions. In other words don't give up hope just yet.

My status changed on 6/15 to Application in Review and the option to withdraw disappeared. I don't know what that means, but I hope it means I still have a chance to interview. I'm just getting over a rejection from UCLA. LOL.

To those who got interviews, what did your status change to?

It didn't change - its still says "In Review" I'm not tripping over it, I got the call so I'm good. Pizza24 did you at least get a chance to interview with UCLA? If so, how did it go?

The recruiter for Stanford called me at 8 am, but I was driving. Anyone else having trouble getting ahold of her? I called back 4 times. :\

I wish there was an email to reply to.
