Stanford New Grad Residency February 2021

Hey everyone! Thought I'd start the thread in case we have questions or run into issues during the application process. Or to just keep each other sane as we await for news. 

haven't heard back from surgical, so it definitely did not make it past the first round. Good luck to everyone and I hope we all find jobs as new grad nurses!

Hi! From what I’ve been hearing only Trauma surgical has reached out. Don’t lose hope for the other units to make their calls!

Just interviewed today for the Surgical/Tele units. Fingers crossed! Good luck everyone! Hoping we hear good news this week!

Oh nice! did you interview for the first/panel interview? or was this the second/unit interview? good luck ?

Hi everyone, I apologize for the delayed response. I interviewed for the cardiac surgery ICU today and have also received an offer from them a few hours after my interview was completed. ?, good luck to everyone else!

Hi, I interviewed yesterday for surgical/tele division 2. They told us they’ll reach out to us for a second interview starting today, latest tomorrow (01/21). Good luck to everyone!

Thank you, and sure I don't mind!

BSN with a 3.61 GPA, I have ICU experience from clinicals and from work experience. I have my ACLS, BLS and NIHSS certs. I did a bunch of volunteering across my years in college, and was a part of NSNA and Sigma Theta Tau. On top of working as a CNA for 3 years, I currently work as a COVID swab nurse while I waited for Stanford : )

The manager liked my personality on top of my experience, so let yourself shine!

Good luck, I emailed K.S and he just informed me that I didn't get the second interview. I interviewed last Thursday for surgical division I. I am hoping the best of luck for you ?
