Stanford New Grad Residency February 2021

Hey everyone! Thought I'd start the thread in case we have questions or run into issues during the application process. Or to just keep each other sane as we await for news. 

I had my interview for Surgical yesterday. Not feeling too confident about getting the second interview. I totally messed up on one of the questions. Everyone else in my group did great. They told us the earliest we would know about 2nd interview is today, in the evening (1/15). Does anyone know how many people they are accepting for Surgical. From the comment above it seems like theyre interviewing lots of people.

On the zoom they said that for surgical it’s 80 interviews and 20 spots! 40:16 for med, 40:10 (I think) ICUs, and 40:9 onc.

Just finished interview for Division 1 Surgical and they say they would call for unit interviews from Jan 19-22.

Oh okay, I was told we can possibly hear about getting second interview tonight and can have a unit interview as early as Tuesday next week. When you say jan 19-22, do you mean that is when 2nd interviews take place or when they start calling?

Hi everyone, dropping into this forum! I recently finished my interview for the ICUs this afternoon and received a call from one of the managers a few hours afterwards to have a second interview next week. Good luck to everyone! ?

I just got a call from the trauma unit for a second interview next week
