Hey everyone! Thought I'd start the thread in case we have questions or run into issues during the application process. Or to just keep each other sane as we await for news.

Got an interview invite for ICUs last week. Interview is on Jan 14th. It’s a Panel interview with all the ICU managers and a few other applicants as well on zoom.

Hey everyone,

I haven't heard back yet. But I was wondering if anyone's status changed to "application under review" and hasn't heard back either? Mine underwent a status change on 11/27 which was several weeks ago. I'm starting to assume I just didn't get it. Ahh anyone else feeling a little discouraged?

hi! I am on the same boat as you. My application status changed around the same time to "application under review" however I have yet to hear back. I applied for AAU Medicine first, AAU surgical second and ICU as my third. I am starting to believe we haven't heard back because the medicine units haven't reached out yet?

I also applied to the medicine units and haven't heard anything. Has no one heard from the medicine units?

an update from Kevin: 

RN New Grad Update - 12/28/2020 at 5:56pm - Happy Monday, everyone! Here are a few updates for everyone: 1) As of today, 68 individuals have been confirmed for panel interviews in our ICU and/or AAU Surgical/Tele (1&2) Divisions. 52 more individuals will be contacted before the interview roster is complete.  2) No interviews will be conducted on Monday, 1/18 for our MLK Holiday. 3) The 80 Finalists for ONCOLOGY and/or AAU Medicine/Tele have yet to be contacted. You will hear from me directly over the next two weeks, if not sooner. Feel free to comment below if you have any questions and I will be glad to provide you with additional information. new to this thread / this website in general, but I have an interview for AAU med/tele on 01/19 :)

I was informed on 12/29. 

 

as for stats: 

3.64, no healthcare exp (like CNA/pct), some nonprofit/public health exp, preceptorship was canceled due to COVID but I had regular clinical rotation on tele floor. BLS only, no ACLS
