  1. Okay, I made the facebook group. Here ya' go! https://www.facebook.com/groups/889966271775477 If you cannot find it, you can type in "Stanford RN New Grad Spring 2021" and hope it pops up, if not from there, I have no ideas after that haha.
  2. Hi everyone, I am not sure if HR is sending out offer letters all at the same time or individually, but I actually received my official offer today from K.S. around 5:00 PM! I was actually wondering to all those that got offers; would anyone care to join a facebook group for the all the new nurses coming in the February cohort? Just so we can keep in touch and get to know each other more! To those that didn't get offers/interviews: KEEP GOING! Do not give up, you will find your place ?.
  3. For round 2, you are alone with the nursing team and it is really just a full send from there of how you approach your interview! Confidence and a smile goes a long way!
  4. Thank you! It is a lot more laid back in comparison to the first interview to be honest. The questions are still behavioral type questions, and expect 3-4 of them. I had five members of the CSICU staff in my interview and they all asked questions to get to know me better shortly after the behavioral questions were completed. I asked my questions to them and we concluded the interview after that ?
  5. Thank you, and sure I don't mind! BSN with a 3.61 GPA, I have ICU experience from clinicals and from work experience. I have my ACLS, BLS and NIHSS certs. I did a bunch of volunteering across my years in college, and was a part of NSNA and Sigma Theta Tau. On top of working as a CNA for 3 years, I currently work as a COVID swab nurse while I waited for Stanford : ) The manager liked my personality on top of my experience, so let yourself shine!
  6. Hi everyone, I apologize for the delayed response. I interviewed for the cardiac surgery ICU today and have also received an offer from them a few hours after my interview was completed. ?, good luck to everyone else!
  7. Hi everyone, dropping into this forum! I recently finished my interview for the ICUs this afternoon and received a call from one of the managers a few hours afterwards to have a second interview next week. Good luck to everyone! ?
  8. Very interesting @throat_goat! I also got my connectivity test for the interview! I hope we get into our respective units! Good luck to you!!
  9. Hello everyone, and congratulations to everyone who was invited to an interview or was given an offer already! I am super late to the party here, but I have an interview for one of the ICUs and I was just wondering, do we have to bring them a portfolio? Or do we just go for the interview and then that's it? I want to leave a lasting impression on them so I wanted to see what everyone else has done when the interview ended. Thank you in advance!
