I just read on the Stanford career site that as of today they are taking applicants for a new RN training program and I have read that many of you are looking for such programs.
Good Luck!!
What do you mean? The new Grad programed is filled?!?
Yes, I just called to ask if I could apply because it say no professional work experience accepted. I wanted to know if that was a hard and fast rule because I graduated in May but was laid off after only 5 months. She said it was already filled.
Did you get full clarification because recently I've heard that if you had some months experience and weren't a RN II you could still apply. This wasn't geared towards Stanford, but this was in general. If you only have 5 months experience you're still considered a RN I and should be able to apply for a new grad program because you're still considered a new grad. Maybe someone who's in your situation can shed some positive light.

There are two programs. One you can apply if you have less than 6 months the other wants no experience.
Congrats to the people who landed an interview.
Do you know if there is still a chance some of us will still get a panal interview?
I know some people got a sorry email.
I haven't and hope I do get one so I can stop thinking that I have a chance.
I'm sure my nervousness on my phone interview didn't help me but I only hope my resume can
still help me land an interview.
The silence of the recruiter threw me off.
Live and learn.
Anyways what do you think?
Is there still hope?
Should I follow up with them today?
Would it hurt to follow up or break my chances for a panel?
Thanks
