Stanford New Grad program

U.S.A. California

I just read on the Stanford career site that as of today they are taking applicants for a new RN training program and I have read that many of you are looking for such programs.

Good Luck!!

Once you log into you personal pearsonvue page (using the log in name and password they sent you in the "NCLEX Registration Acknowledgement" email), when you click "Register" on the left, it doesn't allow you to start the scheduling process?...I'm sorry of I am repeating things you have already tried. Just thought I'd throw it it there because I know how terrible that feeling of waiting is. Good luck!

Thank you so much for trying to help - I really appreciate it :) If I click on Register, it wants me to re-choose the exam, country, pay again... You get the idea. There's no option for actually scheduling the exam. I know for certain that I've registered with Pearson Vue because under Current Activity - Current Registrations it says "NCLEX-RN: The National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses. Well, that and the fact that my Visa has been charged $200, lol. :p I'm calling Pearson Vue right now because darn it, I want to take the test!!

Stanford called me today for the panel interview Thursday morning. I agree with the idea to try to find a quiet spot. I could barely understand what the recruiter was saying. Thank God she emailed me where I need to go. Anyway, nervous as hell!!! Also how many reference letters did you or are you going to give them? I'm sure they don't want novels. About the NCLEX. If you feel that it's been too long since you heard from the BRN go in person to Sacramento. That's what I did, and they gave me a name and a phone nr from a case manager and they were able to find my paperwork. First they thought they didn't get it. So, be proactive and the only way to get them to do something for you is to go in person there. Good luck to everyone and don't worry if you haven't heard anything, they are still calling people so be patient.

Hi nursetobe1975 ,

OMG congrats this great news!:yeah:

Congratulation!

I feel like I wont get a call and still think I should call the recruiter.

The wait it getting to me.

How did she sound on the phone and did she say there are still open spots for an interview?

Also, what does your status say on the application status?

I've been checking so often for a denial. :(

She sounded really nice and she said that there are spots for thursday morning 8am, 1pm and 2 pm. So there are still people to call. On my application status sais, "application in review". Stay positive, unless we hear no, then we still have a chance for yes.:bowingpur:bowingpur:bowingpur

O gosh!

Yours says review which may mean its open for them to view.

Mine is NEW GRAD status.

The other person has the same status as you and she got the interview.

Nooooooooooooo

lol:lol2:

I think I am going to make the call in the next hour and a half!!!!

I cAN't take it.

Ok calm down! What the New Grad means that you made it through the first round of interviews and you are ready for the next round. If you were not considered, it would already say "sorry not selected" I think it just means that they haven't got to your application yet, to schedule the panel. Don't forget, they are dealing with almost 700 candidates so it takes a while until they process everyone.

Take a deep breath, call them if you think it will help decrease your anxiety levels but don't read into anything at this point.

Thanks.

Advise taken.

I'm over thinking like a nursing question.

Time to just breath.

let's face it. None of us will be really breathing until decisions are made on this. This is very stressful but we will get through it. I feel like a rat in a cage, my mind going a million miles an hour but when it comes to it, let's face it, whether we get chosen or not doesn't mean anything about how good we are or how qualified we are. Think about it, it's all about luck here because we are all qualified, we are all new grads, all work hard in nursing school and while I want this job more than anything, if I don't get it I will not think any less of my qualifications.

Congrats to all those who got to schedule your interviews. I am still waiting for my call to be called in for a panel interview. Has anyone here scheduled their interview for next week? I am scared that I might not get called and get a chance to take a stab at the interview process. Iphoneuser, I too am contemplating if I should call or not. I have the recruiters name and number, but am afraid to know of what the answer might be. Anyone have any suggestions?

To those who interviewed what was the panel like? I am preparing a list of questions to ask them and I was wondering if all of them were nurses or were they all from different units in the hospital like Director Of Education, Nurse educator, Doctors etc. It will help me prepare questions. Thanks again!!

when are u going for the interview babbu?

Anyone know if there is 1 or two weeks of panel interviews?
