Quick introduction...I've been observing/reading the boards for some time..but never posted before.
I'm a mid-life career changer...coming from the high-tech field...been a paramedic for a looooonnng time...20 years I think now...Pursuing my BSN and working registry as a Student Nurse Associate in the ER of a busy west side hospital (Chicago). My anticipated date of graduation is May 2008 and so far I'm on target.
I'm looking forward to being an active participant on the boards particularly in the Male Nursing Forum...too few of us in the profession.
Take Care,
Jeff

Your right, too few males in the civilian nursing profession. Glad to have someone with your paramedic experience join the ranks of male nurses.
