has anyone received a letter of acceptance to st.pauls school of nursing for spring 2014? or any phone calls from them? this is for queens location or has anyone applied and is waiting to hear?

I too am waiting to hear from St. Pauls in Queens. Went to the info session on September 4th, took the hesi September 28 and got all of my credentials in before Oct 1st. They said they don't make phone calls anymore so I should receive a letter from them between November 1st and the 8th. * fingers crossed*

yeah i also took my hesi October 3 and did my application and had my transcript sent to them and made sure they received it i called them today to see when i would be hearing from them and they told me mid November like 2nd week im keeoing my fingers crossed too how did you do on your hesi if you dont mind me asking good?

Manuela924 did you apply to the day program or evening? I got an overall score of 88. 94 on the math, 100 on comprehension, 86 on grammar & analytical and a low 80 on another portion (I forgot the name, maybe vocab?) When I went to my information session the speaker mentioned that you need to score at least a 75 on each portion but when I went to take the exam two weeks later he told me they raised it to 80. How did you do score?

Hey PrettyPlease88 i applied for day program and these are my scores i wish i would of done better but the admission rep said it doesn't matter as long as i passed because i asked if i could retake it and she said there is no reason to i did good and i passed everything i needed to pass. i was just rushing through the end part because my time was ending i use all my time because i like to check my answers but hey i just hope i get accepted i need to get into a program badly i just took the teas exam on Saturday and that one is way harder then the Hesi and each section is timed which sucks and there is science i haven't gotten my scores yet since i took the paper test it takes longer they said about two weeks the anxiety over that also is killing me

Hey I also applied! I took my HESI test October 24 and I am waiting to hear back !! I'm super nervous. The admissions representative told me that acceptance letters go out mid November until then I am going to be on pins and needles. Needless to say i hope November flies by!

Hello everyone! i took Hesi exam on Oct. 31st and passed it. ( Nov.1st was a deadline for Spring 2014) Now waiting for a phone call whether im accepted or not. They told me 2-3 weeks... so nervous.... i have a question about BLS card? when we can get it and how we can obtain one???? i believe this is another step along with background check and physical examinations... time is running and i hope i will have time to gather everything before semester starts January 6th!

Hi i believe they help you obtain bls card i already have one since i work in hospital but i believe they offer class there and get you one i think you have to pay a certain amount if not they will most likely refer you to a place to obtain one. They told you the semester starts jan 6? i wasn't aware it was that soon who told you taht if you dont mind me asking? i was also told mid november letters will be sent out im hoping and praying i get in how did you score on your hesi? do you have any of you prereq courses already you applied to queens location for day or night?

thank you for reply! it does say in college catalog "first day of class" 01.06.2014 page 11. i score 86 overall average. math 88 and english 84. YES i did attend another colleges and i will transfer liberal arts such as english, psychology, sociology etc. also i hope they will transfer all my science courses. i think they will notify me about transfer credits along with my acceptance. i apply to queens location (DAY) and you???? :) fingers crossed for you :):)
