HELLO,

I scored a 96% on my math only got two wrong :) and in reading section I scored 88% grammar 84% vocab 86% overall I think it's about 84%. I applied for the day program in queens I'm from Brooklyn however I drive but I'm contemplating if I will travel by train or driving since there is absolutely no parking in the area besides feeding the meter. I pray day and night and I know my god will answer my prayers ! Remember positivity is the key !! No time for negative thoughts . About that class that's required is it a expensive course ? Is it hard to receive . I have a bachelors degree in biology from another school so I have all the sciences courses and they are all above a B so I don't see why they shouldn't transfer as well as all my liberal arts including English , psy and a few others.

Sorry for the late reply I didn't sign in yesterday but I posted my reply . Please let me know a little about That class . Oh and kari when I went to the information session I was told classes begin January 10,2014 but I also see the student book that it says January 6,2014 our letters of acceptance will confirm it :) hope we all get in !!

Hey guys just checking in. When I spoke to ***** last he told me I would get a letter between Nov 1-8 but I guess that's not happening since u guys are saying mid november. FUTURENPSAM, I too have my bachelors and I hope my courses transfer over. In the information session it was said that they will only accept courses taken less than two years ago. There are about 15 St. Paul students doing clinicals at the hospital I work at in Brooklyn and a senior told me that the 2 year cut off is for applicants who do not have a degree. If you have an associates or Bachelors then your pre-reqs must have been taken within the last 5 YEARS! But I have a feeling they changed the policy because I did not hear that at all in the info session. Do you guys know anything about that?

Good luck to all. I hope we all get accepted and meet in person :)

hello manuela924 sorry for a late reply.. i live in queens not so far from school. thanks for info about BLS card. im attending Cuny now and i think that Cuny offers this class too. by the way does it matter where you get the card? or they just need you to have a card? im just gonna wait until acceptance letter comes in im and then i will figure out something :) im gonna keep you posted about any NEWS :)

hope we ALL find out very soon :) GOOD LUCK ALL :):)

Hey , well you did take the test before me so maybe it's possible . I spoke with the female admission rep when she called with my scores she told me mid November letters will be sent out. I'm not sure about that transfer policy never mentioned if you have a degree that your pre reqs must be taken five years. If that's the case my grades should be fine they are not five years old I graduated January 2013 and I been on this journey of trying to get in a school ever since . I'm praying and hoping that I get accepted I will be so happy. Good luck to all of you and hopefully you all get accepted and we can meet and be study buddies 

I just got off the phone with Ms. ****** and I scheduled an appointment to meet with the president on the 18th. I thought we were just getting letters! She mentioned that it will be a determining factor for If I start in January but then says right after I meet with him I have to go to the financial aid office and then meet with her....This process is making my head spin! Did you get a call too?

PrettyPlease88

hey yes i got a call too from a lady dont remember what she said her name was she told me i needed to meet with the president too Dr.* something like that lol and stated the same thing after the interview i meet with financial aid and stated that this interview determined if i would be chosen for January i was also confused since i thought we would be getting letters but she said this was one step closer for them to make there decisions as to whether i would be chosen im going to ask after the interview when do we find out for sure if we are chosen IM REALLY NERVOUS NOW we are probably going to be asked several questions so now im thinking if you have an interview for the 18 that means not everyone is finding out mid nov then probably end of nov right my head is spinning to i wonder who else got a call this must be new that they interview people

Here's my thought on this situation. When i called a couple weeks ago a lady said that the admissions board reviews all of the applicants at the same time since there isn't rolling admissions. I also remember quite a few people that were accepted into the program for the fall got pushed into the spring start date because there wasn't enough room in the fall class! So all though they don't begin reviewing apps for the spring until october, a part of the class is made up already! I think the admissions board decided to do nterviews because the seats were cut down and there are alot of ompetitive applicants applying for those seats not taken by people who were pushed back! Hope this makes sense lol

Didn't get a call :( I don't know if that's good or bad but I emailed ***** today and he told me letters are being sent out and I should hear back by the end of November latest. I'm confused with this phone call thing and interview I never heard of that process makes me nervous. I will continue to pray and hope for the best !
