St. Luke's, Capitol Med, PHC, Medical City. Does anybody here work in any of these hospitals. If so, please help a fellow nurse out by telling me what I need to bring during my application aside from my resume. Any additional advice will be greatly appreciated.

As for me i have given up waiting for these big hospitals to call me. Its been more than 2 months already and no calls or schedules from them. Im due to start in a small hospital next week. Experience is experience they say.

Hmmm, being away from the Philippines for so long I am not familiar with the new St. Luke's Hospital. Judging from the posts here it is a desirable place to work in the Philippines.

My wife and I will take a short flight to San Diego tomorrow (my birthday!) and be back in San Francisco in 2 days, then I'm flying to the Philippines next week. I am very curious and I want to take a quick look at one or two Metro Manila hospitals.

I hope to speak with fellow nurses from the Philippines and trade stories over a cup of coffee.

Most private hospitals in Manila have IV pumps but use is mostly restricted to special cases, say to clients that receive a drug that has a narrow margin of safety.

i dont think it is gonna be a good choice since your location is too far. And also, they are temporarily holding applications even in their email.

hi guys! how much is the fee for the medical exam if your going to apply for slmc-gc?and if there's a fee do they accept credit card payment because i'm from the province and i want to make sure i have enough money before i go to manila next week...thanx in advance...:nuke:

there is no fee for the medical exam. All you have to do is to pass the screening test and the two interviews, afterwhich, you will be scheduled for a medical exam.

i would suggest you try aplying at delgado hospital on kamuning road qc. its just a small hospital but a tertiary one. our hospital is still hiring.

are they really hiring? because i went there last nov 4 and the HR told me they've freeze hiring.
