hi floridabound! i am also bound to florida, but the big question si when? my case has been completed april 30, 2008 with my dependents as FTJ. my plan before was when the interview sked comes, i will bring them with me (will have them undergo medical too) and pay their visa fee bill at the embassy. according to my friends and agency also, that can be done before. but i am not so sure now. that's why i would really like to know the time line for ftj. will the embassy be needing my financial docs (as proof of financial capabilities to support my family?) is it applicable for this kind of visa or not? will the process be smooth as long as their PDs is current, right? please do share some more info. thanks so much.

hi john83, were you able to find all the answers? i indicated that my spouse and kids will follow at a later date because i have no enough money to pay for their fee bill. i would also like to inquire the step by step process on how to file for your dependents visa if you're already in the US? my pd is oct 05 and hoping for an interview this coming new fiscal year. hoping for anybody's comments. thanks :)

well, you could simply ask those with 2002 PD? why in the world, are they soooo left behind??? ours, we're just talking few years, right? ... and you are certainly correct, there have been a number of problems in processing our petition - paper works, technical delays.. etc.. etc.. i totally agree with you suzanne - never ever make any final plans - YET - but what i am saying is that NVC is MOVING>>> true enough, march VB has moved from 2002 to 2005... let's just wait and see...

heard from a friend who's PD is july 04 that she recently got good news from NVC - her case is now eligible for further processing.. isn't that great? finally, nvc is moving... (despite the fact that VB cut-off is nov02)...:cheers: my PD is Oct 05.. does that mean, i can hope that my papers will soon move too?

hi there! did u received the email and the interview date simultaneously?if i may ask, when is your inteview date? and your PD too? wanted to know, so i could continue hoping for a good news by anytime next month.. my pd is oct 2005. case completed july 07.

may i then ask, what could be the effect for those of us going CP, who are now documetarily qualified? PD date is Oct 2005. Can we still expect "sunshine" by October?

oh! i agree with you.. what i am hoping to see is not 5 yrs, but at least uhmm..?? 3 yrs & 2 months? :monkeydance: ha ha.. pd date is oct 05. those cut off dates are beyond our control. let's just wait and keep praying.. thanks & God bless..

thanks for posting. i think it's a good sign that PI has a cut off date of Aug 02. maybe we can be hopeful that that cut off date will be advanced significantly by October.

Thanks for clarifying. I have a follow up question - I haven't paid for my dependents because at that time I don't have enough money to pay for them (agency paid for my fee bill). I wrote NVC that they will follow on a later date instead, thinking that I can just pay their visa fee bills at the time of interview. Since I was able to finally complete the funds that I need just last week, I am now thinking of paying my family's fee bill for fear that they will be affected by this price increase. How will this affect my competed case? Please do share your opinion on this. Again, thank you for your time and effort. God bless..

Just want to clarify if VISA FEE BILL ($380) will also increase by August 17, together with the I-140,I-485 etc..? Mine was already paid last year and case was completed July 18, 2007. If yes, by how much? Thanks and Regards!
