St. Luke's, Capitol Med, PHC, Medical City. Does anybody here work in any of these hospitals. If so, please help a fellow nurse out by telling me what I need to bring during my application aside from my resume. Any additional advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hello an2thedrei!

I worked at St. Luke's recently. Planning to come back when I passed the board (again). you guessed right, Im a June 2006 passer. Anyway I went away on my own, to care for my grandmother who just came back from abroad.

In SLMC, an I.V certificate will give an extra oomph to your credentials. They hired me when I handed them that. Other requirements; the ususl, PRC Board rating, Certificate of Passing, Lots of Pictures so be ready with it. Transcript, Diploma, the works.. you know it. Good Luck!

hi there

I passed my application in Capitol Med Center last year, particular in the month of October and still no calls have been made. Same goes with Medical City which almost 300 took the entrance exam (including me) and unfortunately i think 50 or less did pass during the prelimiary exams.

If you're going to ask me about the requirements: the usual resume, tor diploma, certifications of grades from NLE plus Cert of passing, PRC card, birth cert (all of them are xeroxed) plus bring extra ID pics including 1x1 or the 2x2.

hi! i also passed req't to medical city during the first week of january however, i didnt get any reply from them. i just want to know when did you take the exam? thanks

hi

I just want to ask whether the medical city hospital only accept applicants who are ivt licensed?

these are just a few reminders regarding submitting requirements to st lukes

1.they will not process those applications who have incomplete requirements (according to HRD,the office beside the pigeon cabinet).

2.application is submitted to DCA-dept. of clinical advancement.

3.they will not entertain you if you are not in proper business attire.

4.you have to bring all the original documents for verification

Hi, requirements at St. Luke's Hospital are: resume, college diploma, general weighted average, board rating, prc card, prc board certificate, certificate of employment (if any), 2-pcs 2x2 ID pictures (colored , white background), nbi clearance, birth certificate, sss number, tax identification number (if you have), barangay clearance. You need to complete your requirements because processing of your application will be delayed for incomplete requirements.

hi there,

after we finished the prequalifying exam ni med city last dec 12 i guess (which i didn't pass unfortunately), they told us that the next prequalifying exam will be by june this year. I think they hire 2 a year just like the board exams (june and dec)

Are you suppose to volunteer for their training or is it a requirement for you to get hired? after submitting your papers to the DCA-dept., what's next? are you just going to wait for a call from them or you can start your training already? thanks

 it is a requirement before you get hired. actually after paying and undergoing the training, there is still no assurance that that they will hire you. it depends on your performance during the training. :specs:
