Anyone apply for spring 2016? I received an email stating they are finishing up the selection process. Fingers crossed...

I got accepted! Hoping to find others that are starting in the spring!

I start spring 2016 ACNP, looking forward to it.

Hi all,

I am in the process of applying for this program but in the fall; I was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to explain some of their stats. I am trying to get some info on my chances of being accepted. I am a recent BSN grad, and have just gotten hired as a full time RN in an ICU/CCU unit. By the time the program begins I will have had a year of experience. I am a little weary because I know that GPA's need to be high for such programs, mine is currently at a 3.0/4.0. If anyone could speak of their experiences I would be so grateful!

My GPA was 3.7 and I've been an ICU nurse for 8 yrs now - I also have my CCRN. 2/3 of my references were a week past deadline, so I wasn't sure if that would make a difference - apparently not. (Don't ask docs to your reference letters ;) Good Luck. I will say it took them 10 weeks for an answer and not the 6-8 weeks stated on the website, but maybe that was out of the ordinary.

Eloise74, are you going full or part time? Where are you from? I wasn't able to pm you...

Specializes in ICU, EMS.

Good luck to you! I am graduating this semester and am ready for it to be over with. LMK if you have any questions.

Hi! I applied to the ACNP program for Fall of 2016. Has anyone heard about when the decisions will be made?

I just logged into to my application today and I was accepted

Any feedback on SLU programs? I was looking at the Adult-Gero Primary Care NP and am curious about the caliber/quality/repuatation of the school. TX! KT

Hi Lacy,

I'm full time, finished the spring 2016 ok, I'm from California.

Eloise74, are you working full time? Just curious how it's going for you?

Kimberly
