I work full time in CVICU. I was enrolled for 3 courses last spring semester. Will take 2 courses this fall following my program plan ( AGACNP). The program entails a lot of reading and time, posting answers to questions and taking exams via proctor u ( u get proctored while taking exams in your computer w/ 2 hrs limit). I also have 2 school age kids that share my time. Overall, so far it's going in the right direction, time management is essential. BTW, I have been an ICU nurse for almost 20 yrs and also worked in management. Taking this route to becoming an acute care NP has been overlong due for me. SLU has a very good reputation, and as long as you are determined to fulfill what you want to be then you will do good. Good luck to you!
