I applied to SRJC's nursing program for 2017. I recently got my lottery number for College of Marin, and is in the wait list for CCSF's nursing prog. Still hoping to get in the the jc's program for fall/spring 2017!
For all of you you have been accepted for Fall, please check out the potluck for Monday July 17th being put on by the Student Nurses Association. You really should go! You will meet so many people who can answer questions, now and later, meet your peers in the program, and get to know the people who are there to help you to b successful!
Thank you!!
So during the SRJC nursing meeting, the counselor presenting the info said that it was relatively easy applying and getting into the program. She stressed the importance of getting an A in your English 1A class to be selected too.
Fortunately, I have an A in English 1A :)
As for my science prereqs, that is all I have left to complete. I am going to work my hardest to get A's and B's in all science classes.
BUT I am stuck on if the JC should be the only place I should apply to because I am hopeful that I will be accepted, but I desire a BSN degree.
I am aware about the concurrent enrollment with SSU, but how many students from the JC nursing program even get accepted into it? Doesn't SSU only accept 24 students? The counselor didn't seem to know much about it too.
Sorry for so much info in advance lol, I am just completely lost
